Once we were young

GnaaaAAAAH.
This picture...
At first I really liked the idea. Tried a whole new style on computer, like the one I know from newspaper cartoons. Then I coloured it, fixed a bit in the drawing and added the text I planned to use the whole time. It was just awful. Tooooo much text. Almost no emotion to create from that first attempt, and still... after I edited the text I still don't like what the picture does to the viewer: Almost nothing imo!
Gnarrg.

Yeah... whatever... I made this for this week's theme of , a traveling pony. Well, those two are not traveling at the moment, but they are traveling salesponies nonpareil in general.
For those who are interested: This here have been the speechbubbles at first:
Flam: "B- But... But if we can't sell anything, how are we supposed to make our living then...? I- It's the only thing we've been taught by Mom and Dad before they... they..."
Flim: "Hey, brother of mine, don't cry... Hey... Maybe we should try singing...? People like singing, don't they...? Hey..."

You see? Waaaay too much.

Whatever... How did I draw this? I worked in equal parts with PS and SAI (I used SAI to colour).
It has been like the following then: "Hey, I don't like this part of the colouration. I should change it! Dammit, you are in PS right now..." *save it, close PS, open the same picture with SAI* "Here we go!" *back to PS then to add some text*
